How many people are planning on attending the 40k Legion thing. Hoping for a good turnout and would like to get people talking about it now.

I am bringing a completely uncompetitive list with me. Should be fun. Ha!

Chaos with no obliterators, no daemon princes. EXCITMENT!

Are there any openings left to get in? I would have thought by this time, less than a month, there would have been a thread discussing the future glories and demises of each other’s armies. I hope the lack of traffic doesn’t mean that there are not enough players. But then again, if there aren’t enough players, there would be an opening for me to get in


With you not taking Obliterators or the DP, I imagine you went big on Havoc and Plague squads?
Not that I'm looking for the in's and out's of your list, more of a curiosity. I actually like not knowing what the opponent has until it hits the field. That’s why I usually don’t read my opponents army list. There is that sense of excitement and dread all mixed together.

Havocs, Defilers, and lots of zerkers man.. Killen blood angels in CC for 6 points more a model lol...

There is plenty of time to sign up, the Legion Qualifier is scheduled on Saturday, October 22nd.

Wait.. Dark Eldar? Oh now i am taking 9 Obliterators, 2 Daemon Princes, and 10 squads of plague marines. Oh and lots of deep striking terminators with heavy flamers. Str5 template kills dark eldar vehicles gud.

That would definetly fill me with dread and excitement if that was on the other side of the field.
I would most likely get tabled, but at least my guys would die with a big smile on their face from all the pain and agony. To the Dark Eldar, it's still a win!

I think anyone looking at 9 obliterators on the other side of the table would cringe.. I have never actually used a full 9 but holy cow.. almost 700 points worth of obliterator spam.. Put them in cover or screen them and then laugh as your nearly unkillable death machines roll out..
Although I like the idea of havocs better against dark eldar.. 8 missile launchers and 4 autocannons equals one hell of a demise for low armor transports.
