[Fairlee, VT, November 5-7, 2010] Carnage the 13th Seeks GMs

Once more Vermont's longest-running gaming convention rises up to bring the best and greatest in tabletop games to the people of Vermont and New England. But to do that, Carnage needs GMs to run the games!

This year's theme is slasher horror, so games matching the genre are encouraged, but by no means required. Carnage's gaming schedule is eclectic as the GMs who make it happen. This convention needs orcs and laser pistols as much as it does chainsaw-wielding maniacs.

Carnage the 13th, Vermont's own tabletop gaming convention, takes place November 5th through the 7th at the Lake Morey Resort in scenic Fairlee, Vermont. Visit www.carnagecon.com for more information on the convention and how to be a Carnage GM.

There's just under a month to go before the deadline to get your game in the convention book. If you haven't yet, get over to the GM sign up page now!

Hey, I'll be there, running another scenario of my Home-brew Fantasy Miniatures Ruleshttp://homepage.mac.com/thomascompter/Mercia/KandC/, as well as a condensed version of Federation and Empire.

Hope to see you down there! Are the WizKids folks going to be running a Pirates game? Last year's was the most fun that Jeannie had ever played, according to her.

Hey Tom!

Unfortunately, no Pirate events on the schedule this year for us. Emma and I are booked pretty solid that weekend and as is, we're trying to figure out a way to make it to Carnage (even for a day) this year.

Since we're the ones who are most comfortable running Pirates, the group decided it best to abstain this year as a result of our absence. Same goes for the Star Wars Pocketmodels I'm afriad.

That said, the guys will have some pretty awesome scenarios planned for the other games this year!

With strong hearts full, our souls ignite,
When all seems lost in the War of Light,
Look to the stars-- For hope burns bright!"
