Any word on what's going to be run there for WM/Hordes? On a similar note, any word on who will be running it?

I thought you were going? What changed? And can you check with Hugh on what his plans are?

He runs a pretty standard convention schedule.

I would expect:
Friday open table
750 pt Tour of Steam Style Warmachine on Saturday or a standard tourney
750 Hordes Sunday

That's generally what he runs.

I never said I was going to Carnage.

I hallucinate things and I listen to Kevin. You can understand how I might have thought you were going.

That's what I figured he would run, just making sure he's going this year. I don't want to show up down there and have nothing to do.

Hawaii is hot, gritty and smells like sulfur. That might just be the section I'm in though.

I've still got the Necrons, although I think I mainly keep them to torment Kevin. Double blind Axis and Allies sounds good as does maybe getting some L5R in.

I'll definitely get some games in vs you Laban, don't worry about that. Why is Wayne not coming? And why in heck are you not going Seamus, I figured it was a short hop for you. Couple of months ago dingbat was claiming he'ld save money by staying with you. Ah well.

Wayne some times doesn't have Time off/Money to go.

He doesn't like staying in the same room as someone else. (I also offer to share my room, but I think he likes keeping his distance from my wife LOL)

Looks like I am going to be running Arkham Horror's board game Saturday night.

Speaking of Axis and Allies... Did you guys hear about the new Anniversay Edition? Besides the revamps they did in europe and pacific editions, they are adding China as a allied nation to USA, and Italy as the 3rd axis power. Along with adding cruisers!!

I heard about the Anniversary edition and I have to say I'm a little hesitant at the thought of it. I've played TrippleA, which is a computerized version of Axis & Allies, and it includes versions of the game with China and Italy as independent nations and I really didn't like it.

Kirin, do you know if Italy and China are playable nations? If so, it would be a complete overhaul of the distribution of IPCs to make them competitive.

As with every new edition of an old game, I remain suspicious until I have evidence to assuage my concerns. I like the current version of A&A.

Italy is totaly independent by the discription (3rd Axies Power). China is said is Allyed to USA, so sounds like its under the control of the USA player. So thier basicly turning it into a 6 players game.. 3 on 3 vs the old 5 3 on 2.

I'll see what other info I can pull up on it (from Distrubiters etc).
