Howdy all... coming up from Barre again...

Postby RedShark92 » Wed Sep 23, 2009 9:19 am

Don't know if anyone remembers, but I had made it up, probably almost a year ago... Wait... Just doublechecked my posts (viewtopic.php?f=41&t=809), a little over a year ago now (where does the time go!??)...

Anyway... Not certain yet, but I'm thinking I may try to make it up sometime over the next month or so... Doesn't look like much is scheduled as yet - are these still happening regularly?

I've got a few more to add to what I had before (see old thread) I'd be willing to consider bringing up, depending on interest.

Most notable...

Battlelore (same core system as Memoir 44, normally only two players but as in M44 there are optional rules for larger battles, I think it goes up to six in this one).

Cosmic Encounter (FFG version, up to 5 players).

Mutant Chronicles - Siege of the Citadel (somewhat similar to Space Crusade, which I brought with me last time, consensus is that this is the better of the two, but I've yet to play it - up to 5 players).

Space Hulk (OK, I had this before, but now I also have the spiffy new 3rd Edition that just came out)

Fury of Dracula (FFG version, up to 4 players, great Halloween themed game if we get close to that)

Hi, Joe. I definitely remember you. You taught me and some others to play Space Crusade.

Tuesday board games are still going on. We're less active on this forum than we used to be is all. Come on up and bring whatever tickles your fancy. I'd love to take a whack at Fury of Dracula, myself.

Fury of Dracula is good fun and I'd be happy to give that some more plays. It actually goes up to 5 players, not 4 like I said before. It can be played with as few as 2 but I think 3 is the practical minimum to prevent the Hunters from having too much to keep track of.

Anyway - I'll post again once I have an idea of what day will work for me...

Looks like I'm going to tentatively plan to make it up on the 13th.

I'll plan to bring Fury of Dracula up and probably one or two other things, just in case.

The 13th is now less tentative and looks good!!

Looking forward to it...

Still planning on bringing up Fury of Dracula and perhaps one or two other things, just in case. Are there any particular preferences?

I'm going to have to bail on tonight, as I have some other things to take care of.

I do want to come up, as soon as I can and I'll let folks know when I'm planning to.

That's a shame, Joe. Hope all goes well with the family and you can make it up sometime.

If not, I'm sure more than a few of us will see you at Carnage!

I'll definitely make it up, just not sure exactly when. Coming from Barre, weeknights are a little tough, but I'll manage it sooner or later!
