Heroquest

Postby Samhain » Thu Feb 24, 2011 6:09 pm

Does anyone remember or play this great game anymore? I own the first core set and would love to bring it in and share a fun dungeon crawl with anyone who would like to join. I also own the original Star Wars Death Star game as well and (for those of you who remember) the Barnabus Collins game from the Dark Shadows original series! Retro geeks unite!!!

I've heard many glowing things said of Heroquest, but never had the opportunity to try it out. If you're free some Tuesday, you should bring it by to board game night at the store.

Sounds good! Mind you, I have not played in a while, but the rules are pretty simple to grasp. let's try to figure out a Tuesday that works for everyone. It would be good if you knew of other players to fill out the classes.(Barbarian, Elf, Wizard, Dwarf) Thanks for responding!

Most of the board game chatter happens over here. If you want to plan ahead, I suggest posting there in the weekly chat thread.

That said, board game night is pretty casual. Most people bring what they want to play and round up players. Something like Heroquest shouldn't have any problem attracting people.

I was just going through all the items last night. I can't believe that only a few of the items are missing. We always used to change the rules around as well, but never went so far as to make our own campaign. it would be cool to see what you came up with. if my schedule works out I'm going to try to come in on tuesday night.

So... I had a brain fart. I'm working this Tuesday. Whoops.

I still bet you could find players for Heroquest, though. Or perhaps next week.

I check in once in a while, Heroquest could be intriguing. Never played it, but could learn.
