Celestial Edition Release Tournament

Postby Daidoji Ryushi » Fri May 08, 2009 9:26 am

Alright!

Good news: CE is on its way! The new base set will bring old favorites back and introduce new players to the world of Rokugan!

Bad news: CE release date was pushed back to June 22.

So what to do?

Well, I'd like to start getting information from all of you regarding when you'd be availible for me to run the release tournament.

The tournament can be run anytime between June 22 and July 13, and I want as many of us to play as possible.

I am also trying to coordinate with the TO of the Game Castle in NH, so that our tournaments aren't on the same dates, and maybe we can have a nice cross-store rivalry/roadtrip worked out.

Let me know your thoughts and availibility!

uhm as of right now I am available whenever. This is interesting, no second booster release before Celestial? Just Glory of the Empire, Imperial Gift, and Death at Koten?

Yup, that's it. A bit of a change from the norm, but AEG considers Imperial Gift to be that 2nd expansion, and I'm not about to complain about free cards instead of dropping more money :)

Basically its never been easier to get into a base set reset of the game, and only Glory will have the money rares that will be tough to get at the end of the arc.
