Love the Kyoko having her honor reduced. Her gold remains the same, but now we can buy her for 2 gold right at the start of the game. The spell seems to ruffle the Honor Fire Chickens the wrong way since they think it takes too long to get off the ground, but since I plan to play War Fire Chicken through the whole arc, it does not do much for me.

Naizen and that weapon are awesome.

Naizen is silly good.

I attack, declare Naval. Attach a Follower, then shoot you for a RA 6. EVERY TURN. And 11 Gold should be no problem to hit by turn 3.

I pride myself on the fact that the first thing I noticed was that this was the best artwork for Naizen so far, IMHO. Then I noticed just how sweet he would be in the game.

I also was thinking about the fact that both the clans I play have champions that have been around in card form since gold or earlier. If I remember correctly, only Unicorn and Scorpion can claim the same. (If you want to count the favor card of Daigotsu...well maybe, but I don't.) Only Paneki and Kuon were pre-gold. I'll have to look through my cards and see if I have all the printings of Kuon...just to make a legacy deck for fun.

i wonder if there will be an open kiho that removes naval, used to be one around in Diamond. Yes its nice to have that 2 action ability but dont overlook Commander trait. i just got a rare action for commander to lookat 4 dynasty cards and replace one of your face-up province card, dynasty shuffle...nice.

I'm a little worried about the commander abilities. If the cards key of just the commander trait, all well and good. However, if it requires the trait and followers, now you need at least two fate cards to pull it off. I will have to see how it will work.
