L5R at NEW

So I got thinking, and would be willing to help organize and run this, but we should try to get AEG to allow us to have a Storyline event for the next Northeast Wars. It may or may not work seeing as the Con is right in the middle of the Kotei season, but its definitely worth trying.

Curious as to what you would need from me to start inquiring with AEG about the possibility of this happening?

I think with the proper promotion in the L5R community, this could bolster attendance to the Con by a fair amount, and seeing as alot of L5R players also play other CCGs, I think other events could become bigger as well.

We could even run it as a charity event, and probably get some additional prize support from AEG for free as well.

Update.

I've been in some small talks with a group from NH that have run some larger L5R events at other cons, most recently the Open Gaming Con.

They are interested in helping me get this off the ground. Even if we cannot get a Storyline event, I think there would be a very good outcome for including L5R in the event line up.

CCG or RPG?

Currently only CCG, but as I'm gettign mroe and more interested in the RPG and if there is a big enough general interest, I can see about getting some Heroes of Rokugan modules to have run at the event.
